Taking the time to slow down and becoming more aware of our senses in nature is what mindful hiking will teach you. It will bring conscious awareness to your senses. It will not only bring you into the present moment and deepen your connection to your surrounding, it will also bring your mind and body back into a state of balance. Your body will start to relax and your mind will begin to settle. Enjoy the new moon with us as walk through the gardens.
We will only be “hiking” (aka walking) around a quarter of a mile with more attention being placed on our connection with nature and less on where we need to go. Plan for walking, sitting, and standing. This class will be offered outdoors in the gardens (weather permitting). No walk-in registrations allowed, you must pre-register. Participants must arrive wearing a mask.
