Will Santa be at the event?
Yes! Santa will be in the Pavilion for free photos through Dec 23 from 5:00-8:30 pm. On Dec 24, visit with Mrs. Claus and Jingle the Elf while Santa is out delivering gifts. From Dec 26–30, Santa returns in “Vacation Mode,” sporting a fun tropical look, sponsored by Natalie’s Juice.
Are tickets timed?
Tickets are not timed. Guests can redeem their tickets anytime during event hours on their reserved day (or any one day of their choosing if they purchase Any Day Tickets). No re-entry.
When do doors open and close?
Doors open at 5 PM. Last entry is at 8:30 pm.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online and at the door.

Will there be food and drinks for sale?
Nixon’s Coffee House: Located within the Candy Cane Exhibit Area-Full selection of hot beverages and warm snacks.
Pop Up Bars: Located throughout the event. Follow the signs for hot cocoa and adult beverages
Smore’s Station: Smore’s kits sold in the Pavilion. Grab a spot at one of the firepits in the courtyard just outside of the Pavilion to roast marshmallows. $5 to make your own s’more!
The Farmhouse at Breckenridge Brewery: Get one free kids’ meal (12 years and under) per entree when you show your Hudson Holidays tickets during the same week your tickets are valid. Dine-in only.

What if I can’t make it due to illness or other reason?

We have a large group that wants to attend. How do we purchase tickets?

Can my work host their holiday party at Hudson Gardens? What about small gatherings?
We would love to host your holiday party or family get togethers. We still have openings for all levels of holiday gatherings available at Hudson Gardens. Email specialevents@hudsongardens.org for renting both small and large venues. Ask about discounts on rentals with light show ticket purchases.
Is there free event parking and where should I park?
Parking is free at Hudson Gardens and our overflow lot at Arapahoe Community College.
Sleigh Ride FAQs
Sleigh Rides will be available on Dec. 4 and Dec. 14. Timed sleigh ride tickets must be purchased online in advance.
FAQ Sleigh Rides:
- Where do sleigh rides begin?
Sleigh rides load and depart from Santa’s Workshop (the big red barn which is located on the northwest corner of Hudson Gardens off of Candy Cane Lane.) Sleigh rides depart approximately every 15 minutes.
- When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled sleigh ride time.
- How many people can ride?
The carriage seats approximately 18–20 guests.
- Is it accessible?
Yes, the sleigh ride carriage is wheelchair accessible.
- Do I need anything besides a sleigh ride ticket?
Yes. All guests must also have a Hudson Holidays admission ticket for the date of their ride.
- How long is the ride?
Rides last approximately 10 minutes.
- Can I bring my stroller?
Strollers cannot be brought onto the sleigh, but we will have stroller parking available. Please keep your valuables with you. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items
What is the weather policy?
All tickets are final and cannot be refunded regardless of weather, unless the event is cancelled. If an event date is cancelled, guests will be notified via the email used to purchase their tickets, and Hudson Gardens will issue guests an Any Day ticket to redeem on any one night for the remainder of the show.
If the event is not cancelled and you would like to change your date, please email specialevents@hudsongardens.org. There is a $10 date change fee per order.
What items are not allowed?
The following items are not permitted:
- Outside food or drinks including alcoholic beverages
- Pets with the exception of documented service animals
- Bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards
- Unlawful weapons
- Drones and other remote-controlled flying devices
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes. The entrances, trails, exits, and restrooms are ADA accessible.
Are wheelchairs or scooters available?
Hudson Gardens does not have wheelchairs or scooters available to borrow or rent.
Will there be ADA parking?
ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking attendants on site will direct you to the closest, ADA-accessible parking spaces. There will be a designated drop-off area at the entrance if parking is not available in the Hudson Gardens lot. Use the Denver Seminary entrance (W. Weaver Ave.) to enter for ADA Parking or Drop-Off.
Are there low sensory options?
Yes. December 3 is a low sensory show. During this event, guests can expect the same spectacular light displays, but with modifications to make it a more sensory-supportive environment.
Here’s what to expect:
- Limited ticket numbers will be sold for smaller crowds.
- Strobe effects, flashing, movement, and blinking will be reduced or eliminated if applicable.
- Music and other stimuli will be at a minimum.
- A limited sensory room or quiet room will be available along the pathway to reduce sensory overload.
We recommend bringing along any items that will improve your experience, including noise canceling headphones, sunglasses, soothing items, etc.
