The Inn at Hudson Gardens

This iconic log cabin was built in the early 1940s and refurbished in 2018. The pinelog walls and hardwood floors create a welcoming, rustic environment while antique chandeliers and stone fireplaces elevate any private event. Large windows provide views of surrounding gardens and let in that famous Colorado sunshine. Patrons have access to an outdoor area with evergreen trees, fresh-cut grass, seasonal flowerbeds, and holiday lights (Nov-Dec).

This venue comfortably seats a maximum of 250 guests in a variety of seating arrangements (including ‘banquet,’ ‘cabaret,’ ‘family-style,’ ‘cocktail,’ ‘theater,’ ‘U-shape,’ and ‘hollow square’) with space for dancing and presentations. Two dressing rooms and a catering preparation area are included.

The Garden Canopy

The Garden Canopy is an octagonal structure surrounded by annual flowerbeds. The elegant, ivory panels allow these vibrant blossoms and your color scheme to pop. A vaulted ceiling with elegant bistro lights gives this venue just the right amount of drama. The sides open up for an open-air experience which includes a decorative fountain surrounded by roses as well as the nearby Victoria Water Lily Pond.

The venue comfortably seats a maximum of 225 guests in a variety of seating arrangements (including ‘banquet,’ ‘cabaret,’ ‘family-style,’ ‘cocktail,’ ‘theater,’ and ‘U-shape’) with space for dancing and presentations. Two dressing rooms and a catering preparation area are included.

Welcome Garden Pavilion

This posh, ivory structure overlooks The Lake and The Wetlands. Distinguishing features include chic string lights draped across the vaulted ceiling; however, most guests fall in love with this venue for its waterside views. The sides open up to create an open-air experience that includes a courtyard with flower beds and plants native to Colorado.

This space comfortably seats a maximum of 175 seated guests in a variety of seating arrangements (including ‘banquet,’ ‘cabaret,’ ‘family-style,’ ‘cocktail,’ ‘theater,’ and ‘U-shape’) with room for dancing and presentations. Two dressing rooms and a catering preparation area are included.

The Overlook

The Overlook encompasses a wooden gazebo perched on a hill for prime views of the concert amphitheater and much of the gardens. At the same time, a grove of mature trees keeps it tucked away from public view for an intimate, open-air experience. Edison-style string lights illuminate a tranquil stream which winds through the private courtyard. This rustic venue is especially popular for concert VIP parties, birthdays, showers, graduation parties, and anniversary parties.

This space is large enough for a maximum of 50 seated guests with farmhouse-style benches and high-top tables for cocktail parties.

The Residence Meeting Rooms

The Residence was originally the home of Evelyn and King Hudson back when they ran a farm-to-table restaurant. It was expanded and refurbished to include three meeting rooms available to the public for rent. Each meeting room includes tables and chairs, high-speed internet, and a white board. Two of the rooms feature a mounted TV screen with HDMI hookups.

These venues are close to an on-site coffee shop (June-September), entrances to the Mary Carter Greenway Trail and the South Platte River corridor, and picnic tables by a big, red barn. Patrons also have access to thirty acres of open space for breakout sessions.

This space is large enough for a maximum of 25 seated guests in a variety of seating arrangements including ‘Conference’ ‘Hollow Square,’ and ‘Boardroom’ styles.

More Good Spots

The Rose Garden
A variety of rose blossoms surround a decorative fountain and pergolas. With ample space for outdoor seating on an adjacent lawn, this garden exhibit is typically used as a ceremony site for weddings and life celebrations.

Monet’s Place
A stone altar overlooks a lake that is accented by water lilies and a bridge. This charming scene was inspired by a Claude Monet painting, “Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies.” With ample outdoor seating, it’s typically used for wedding ceremonies.

The Grassy South Lawn/ Concert Amphitheater
This sprawling, grassy amphitheater is used for Hudson Gardens’ concerts, beer festival, and other special events. It’s perfect for large company picnics, retreats, and obstacle courses.

The Red Barn & Picnic Area
The iconic red barn is used for storage, and the interior is not available for events. However, it has become a beloved backdrop for events that make use of the sprawling picnic area that surrounds it. It’s the perfect spot to set up yard games and a tent rented through Event Rents.

The Oval Garden
One of our most colorful and cheerful floral exhibits is the Oval Garden, located across from the Garden Canopy. This area is frequently used as additional space for events in the Garden Canopy with the option of renting tents from Event Rents.

The Island
A charming bridge crosses Bob’s Lake and leads guests to a small island surrounded my mature, towering trees and one of our best mountain views. It’s a unique and quiet spot for a small picnic, tea time, or breakout session.
