Join Us for a Unique Opportunity to Watch Our Victoria Water Lily Bloom!
Hudson Gardens has the honor of being one of two public locations in the Denver Area where Victoria Water Lilies can be observed. Native to South America, Victoria Water Lilies, have a fascinating 48-hour life cycle. Join us at sunset with our volunteers from the Colorado Water Garden Society as they explain the science, beauty, and strangeness of this rare plant. See, smell, and feel the bloom up close and personal during an interactive portion of the night. Enjoy a beautiful evening in the gardens with a community of nature enthusiasts.
Meet at the Victoria Water Lily Pond at 8pm
Guests are welcome to bring chairs, food, and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol and glass containers of any kind are not permitted.
This is a free event. No ticket or registration required. Patrons are encouraged to give a $10 donation to support the water lilies and other garden exhibits.
