Over 500 species of birds have been documented in Colorado and our state is located in the middle of the Central Flyway — which means it’s a stopover for migrating birds from mid-February until May. Spring comes alive throughout the Front Range as wildflowers bloom and migrating songbirds head Northwards to take advantage of seasonal food choices, thawing waters, and ideal nesting conditions.  Learn to identify some of our most anticipated spring migrants through field marks and bird songs. This online class is presented in partnership with Denver Audubon.

Class will be provided online via the Zoom platform. Instructions on how to access the class will be sent to registered participants. Photo credit: Dick Vogel
