Of the five turtles native to Colorado, three of them call Hudson Gardens home. Participants will learn all about the western painted turtle, snapping turtle, and yellow mud turtle, through exploration, hands-on discovery and interactive games and activities. Children are encouraged to bring binoculars to view turtles in the ponds, and cameras to take pictures of these invaluable reptiles.

This program is suitable for students in grades 1st to 5th. Program will start indoors and include a walk around the gardens (weather permitting). Parents only need to register and pay for the child(ren) attending the program. Please note this program starts at 9:00 AM.

*Classes may be canceled, rescheduled or moved to an online format in accordance with public health orders and/or inclement weather.
