This workshop will allow you to create your very own small plaster cast of fresh and faux botanicals.  The process will include planning your composition, selecting your botanicals and arranging them exactly as you would like to remember them and casting.  To cast, we will be using the impression of the botanicals to create a beautiful multi dimensional relief sculpture.  This is a great workshop for beginners and no artistic ability is required.   All materials will be provided.  Be sure to dress for clay and plaster.  We will be working outside for part of the process.

We will provide some materials to make impressions but please feel free to bring your own. Keep in mind that hearty plants make the best impressions.  Seed pods, tiny berries and delicate flower blossoms are difficult to cast.  Avoid things that will break when rolled into clay.
