Join us on the patio to create some art alfresco!

This workshop will allow you to create your very own small plaster cast of fresh and faux botanicals.  The process will include planning your composition, selecting your botanicals and arranging them exactly as you would like to remember them.  We will then use the impression of the botanicals to create a beautiful multi dimensional plaster cast.  This is a great workshop for beginners and no artistic ability is required.   All materials will be provided.  Be sure to dress for clay and plaster.  We will be working primarily outside.  Our castings will be circular and around 9″ in diameter. Because it is difficult to tell how long the plaster will take to cure we have allotted 3 hours but, it may take less time that day.

If you have something special in your garden that is not too delicate, please feel free to bring your own materials to cast. Seed pods and delicate flower blossoms are difficult to cast.  Avoid things that will break when rolled into clay.
