Let the beauty of Hudson Gardens inspire your young artist. Designed for students in 2nd to 6th grades, this arts enrichment class explores the fundamentals of digital photography through activities and games that will help students learn what makes a great photo.
This hands-on, three-hour class will cover composition, lighting, shading, focus, and more. Basic techniques are presented in an easy-to-understand way with plenty of time for practice. Students will learn what makes a great photo and how to use photographs to assist in the painting process. Students registered for both the photography and painting class can stay onsite for lunch for a full day of art enrichment.

All supplies are provided (except a camera). Students should have a DSLR or point-and-shoot camera. No iPhones please. No experience is needed. Pre-registration is required. Masks are required while indoors. Please read our COVID-19 protocols for classes on the main classes/program page.
