Let the beauty of Hudson Gardens inspire your young photographer. Designed for students in 2nd to 6th grades, this arts enrichment class explores the fundamentals of digital photography through activities and games that will help students learn what makes a great photo.
This hands-on, mostly outdoors class, will cover composition, lighting, shading, color theory, post production and more. Basic techniques are presented in an easy to understand way with plenty of time for practice. The class will include a color printer onsite. Each participant will be allowed to print two digital photos to be used in a custom made cards for Mother’s Day. Register by April 24 to save $5 on the class.
All supplies are provided (except a camera). Students should have a DSLR or point-and-shoot camera. No iPhones please. No experience is needed. Pre-registration is required. Masks are required while indoors. Please read our COVID-19 protocols for classes on the main classes/program page.
