May’s full moon will be the closest full moon of the year, making it the second of two supermoons. The Algonquin tribes of what is now the northeastern United States called this moon the Flower Moon, for the flowers that are abundant this time of year. Other names include the Corn Planting Moon and the Milk Moon. Plus, it will coincide with a total lunar eclipse in some areas.

A drum circle is any group of people playing (usually) hand-drums and percussion in a circle. They are distinct from a drumming group or troupe in that the drum circle is an end rather than preparation for a performance.

This drum circle will take place in the backyard of the Inn (weather permitting) otherwise it will be held indoors. Pre-registration is required, no walk-in registrations allowed. The class size will be limited. Please read our COVID-19 protocols for classes on the main classes/programs page.

*Classes may be cancelled, rescheduled or moved to an online format in accordance with public health orders and/or inclement weather.
