We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Central City Opera (CCO) to host their 2021 Festival in our beautiful concert amphitheater. Join us for open-air, socially-distanced performances of Carousel and Rigoletto!

This annual summer opera festival usually takes place in the Colorado mountain town of Central City. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Central City Opera determined it was necessary to secure an outdoor venue. Of course, we jumped at this rare opportunity to bring the country’s fifth-oldest opera company to Hudson Gardens!

Love is a wild ride!

“One of America’s finest theatrical achievements,” Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel follows the ups, downs, round and rounds of life and love. Muddling through small town expectations, meager means, and conflicting dreams, Julie, Billy and their daughter Louise learn “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Who will have the last laugh?

Rigoletto is a joke gone too far, set to some of the best-known music in all of opera. A devilish Duke and his tortured court jester, Rigoletto, clash over the jester’s beautiful daughter in this topsy-turvy suspense, teeming with twists of plot and twists of fate.
