When will my tribute be installed?
Due to cold temperatures, installation, planting, and placement of all Tributes will only occur during the months of April through October.
Can I hold a dedication ceremony for my Tribute?
A dedication ceremony for any Tribute is welcomed. Such ceremonies must be arranged in advance with Hudson Gardens’ staff and may not interfere with previously scheduled events or programs.
Can I place ashes at the site of a Tribute?
Cremated remains may not remain permanently on Hudson Gardens’ property.
Can I donate a shrub or another type of plant?
Due to relatively short lifespans and the need to be divided, relocated, or replanted with some frequency, plants other than trees are not eligible for donation.
Can I choose the type of Commemorative Tree or Garden Bench and its location?
The locations, species, and sizes of available Commemorative Trees and Garden Benches are predetermined by Hudson Gardens. Clients may select trees and benches from these lists.
Can I be there when the Tribute is installed or planted?
Because installations and planting dates are approximate and dependent upon weather, Hudson Gardens cannot accommodate clients at these events.
What if the Commemorative Tree I purchase dies?
If a Commemorative Tree fails for any reason within three years of planting, Hudson Gardens will replace it at no additional cost to the client. If it fails for any reason after a period of three years for any reason, it is the client’s responsibility to fund a replacement if so desired.
I have more questions. Who can I contact?
