The Gardens are home to over 1,000 trees, representing over 140 varieties and cultivars. During your time at The Gardens you will see species of tress that grew when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, relatives of the largest living organism on earth and some of the largest and oldest trees in Colorado.
Some of the trees you will see on your visit are:
- Blue Spruce
- Deciduous conifers
- 5 varieties of prehistoric trees (species identical to their fossilized ancestors that lived thousands to millions of years ago) including: Bristlecone Pine, Dawn Redwood, Ginkgo, Magnolia, and Sweet Gum.
