Modular Train Display Saturday, March 17 and
Sunday, March 18: 10 AM – 4 PM both days For train enthusiasts of
all ages! Share in the excitement as model railroading comes to The Hudson
Gardens for this amazing display. Complete with three operating layouts –
the “O” Gauge Lionel exhibit, “G Gauge” display and On30 modular layout –
we’ve got trains for the enjoyment of all in attendance!
Admission is $1 plus one canned food item, which will be donated to a
local food bank.
Birding in the Gardens Check out this guide, filled
with pictures and descriptions of the different bird species that you are
most likely to come across at The Hudson Gardens. Designed to help you
begin identifying birds, this easy-to-use beginner’s guide to birding is
accompanied by use of a pair of high-focus binoculars. The guide is
available on a check-out basis and is free of charge. A $10 refundable
deposit and ID are required and will be returned upon successful return of
the guide and binoculars. Guides may be checked out daily from May through
October, 9 AM – 3 PM.
Interpretive Tree Trail Whether your next visit to The
Hudson Gardens is your first or fiftieth, you won’t want to miss this
self-guided tour of fifteen fascinating trees growing at The Hudson
Gardens! You will see species of trees that grew when the dinosaurs roamed
the earth, relatives of the largest living organism on earth, and some of
the largest trees in Colorado. Plan on spending at least an hour and a
half to complete the 1.25 mile trail. This interpretive guide is available
free of charge at the Gift Shop.
