Join The Gardens’ Volunteer Team!

Enjoy fresh air and new friendship! Volunteers are the backbone of The Hudson Gardens & Event Center and allow us to dedicate key resources to organizational functions, programs, and The Gardens.

What volunteer opportunities are offered at The Gardens?
We currently offer opportunities in our Education, Landscape, and Membership Departments. Check out our Position Listings for more information.

What if I can’t volunteer regularly? Is there a minimum time requirement?
Most volunteer positions require a regular commitment, which varies by position. Some positions require a few hours once a month, and others require a weekly commitment.

Do I have to have training?
An orientation and training will be provided for all volunteer positions.

Are there any age limitations for volunteering?
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Can I start volunteering mid-season?
The starting date and ending date for each volunteer position varies by department. We encourage starting at the beginning of the respective department’s season so that you can attend a general orientation and specific departmental training. 

How do I apply?
