Chocolate Garden

One of the newest display beds at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center, the Chocolate Garden showcases a growing trend in the gardening industry: chocolate-themed plantings. Since edible forms of chocolate derive from cocoa beans (which grow in tropical areas), the plants that are featured in the Chocolate Garden are not intended to mimic the taste of chocolate, but are instead cultivated to mirror its image or fragrance.

The chocolate plantings at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center vary from year to year, with an emphasis on featuring newly-cultivated plants as well as the perennial favorites.
