Beehives

The honeybee hives at The Hudson Gardens are intended to be educational, alerting the community to the benefits of honeybees and to gain support for their preservation. The beehives are maintained by volunteer beekeepers who are responsible for all aspects of hive management. The hives are maintained with natural management methods which are minimally invasive, chemical free, and non-toxic. The honey is harvested for individual use by the beekeepers.
