The soft sounds of a flowing cascade lend an element of surprise at the south end of The Gardens. A quiet area for reflection has been created by using the gentle slope of the path down from the
Conifer Grove past the Pavilion Pool. Amid a dense planting of native and other shrubs, recycled water winds its way under a bridge to the Main Pool, tumbling over big boulders.

Native shrubs include Dogwood, Apache Plume, Ninebark, Willows, Alder, Waxflower, and Boulder Raspberry. An ideal environment for bog plants, the Cascade area attracts a variety of birds and is one of the most photogenic spots in The Gardens.
