Register through Arapahoe Community College's web site or by phoning 303-797-5722. Refer to the course number below. Courses capitalize on the natural surroundings at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center. You will also have the opportunity to explore The Gardens before, during, and after class.

Hip Hop Dance

ARCR1019W01, Mon, 8-9 pm, 8 wks, begins January 21
Discover the funky street stylings of Hip Hop while getting a great workout! Practice exciting, high intensity Hip Hop moves and create combinations you can use on the dance floor. This is a co-ed class, with one level designed for beginners (Level I) and the next level designed for students who have Hip Hop dance experience (Level II).
Wear comfortable, athletic clothing/shoes and bring a towel or mat for warm-up and conditioning. Don’t forget your water bottle!

Playing with Pastels and Mixed Media

ARCR1111W01, Thur, 6:30-9:30 pm, 6 wks, begins February 21
Lean to transform your favorite photo into a colorful, expressive mixed media painting. Create a value study, charcoal drawing, watercolor under painting and apply the final layers of soft pastels while learning composition, value, color and technique.
Supply list will be mailed to you. Please bring an easel and drop cloth.

More Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain: Beyond the Basics

Engage your imagination--take on new challenges with new materials! Draw outdoors (weather permitting) for a few sessions. While indoors, explore imaginative interpretations of ideas and familiar subjects, including self-portraits.
